About our Speaker: Cynthia Stotlar is the VP of Training and Organization Development at Creative Business Solutions, an HR and Legal consulting firm in Topeka. They provide all types of HR support and project work and have become the outsourced HR department for numerous firms in the Topeka.
She is definitely “certifiable” since she is certified as an SPHR, as a trainer for DDI and Achieve Global and as a Human Performance Improvement Consultant through ASTD.
To keep her sanity, she paints for everyone including the SHRM’s National Foundation Auction, conference drawings, murals for non-profits and baby rooms for friends, friends of friends and friends of friends’ friends. Cynthia has been Artist of the Month at the Topeka Art Guild.
In her spare time, she has co-authored three books: Career Compass for Women and Power Tools for Success and Speaking of Success and has two more in the process. Cynthia is a frequent conference speaker as well and has spoken for the Kansas, Wisconsin and Arkansas SHRM conferences among others
Cynthia provides executive coaching using a 360 first to assess improvement opportunities and strengths. I believe in playing to one’s strengths and minimizing or managing one’s weaknesses. I’ve assisted numerous executives in their search for self development.
Before spending 16 years as President of Creative Business Solutions, Cynthia was a front-line supervisor through Department Director and has worked inside non-profits, not for profits and Fortune 500 Companies. Cynthia has over 20 years of real world management experience and over 18 years in Human Resources and training. Having worked hard to excel in her field, Cynthia named HR professional of the year for both the Topeka area and the State of Kansas.
Creative Business Solutions, established in 1992, is a regional human resources consulting firm located in Topeka, Kansas, which provides HR outsourcing and consulting services, training and organizational development, and legal counseling. Our experience across multiple organizations, businesses and industries provides a breadth of expertise not normally available with internal staff. We work with businesses to develop solutions which fit their needs and culture. Succinctly stated, our single goal is to make your business better.
Remember… you must register and/or notify us of any cancellation by e-mailing us or by filling out the online form by Noon on Friday, Aug. 6th. If you register but do not attend the meeting, you will be charged an extra $5.00 in addition to the cost of the meeting! Accommodating late registrations causes a big problem for the restaurant in terms of providing enough food and seating space for late registrants. Please try your hardest to register by the Noon deadline.
