Lunch Program Topic:

The Roaring 20’s: Known for Economic & Social Transformation. Is your Benefits Package Stuck?
Building a better benefits experience is a juggling act, especially in today’s rapidly changing employee benefits marketplace, technology advancements, and regulatory changes. Join us to learn about what the SECURE Act is and how it impacts your retirement plan, how Artificial Intelligence is impacting the insurance industry, how to gain control of your healthcare finances and improve your employees’ overall health access and experience.

Workshop Topic:

Rethinking Your Benefits in Changing Times
During the keynote presentation, we will have only scratched the surface of the ever-changing benefit technologies, strategies and regulations. During this workshop, presenters will take a deeper dive into each one of these topics to discuss how they impact or can transform your benefits. Takeaways will include:

  • What is artificial intelligence and how it can help to improve employees’ health and experiences.
  • Learning what to look for and do to help you control unwanted healthcare spending.
  • Three key areas of the SECURE Act and what they mean to retirement planning.
  • Strategies for building strong benefit programs that improve employee engagement and well-being.

Credits:
The lunch program is valid for 1 PDC towards the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.

The workshop is valid for 2 PDC’s towards the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.

Presenters:

Adam Hall, The Olson Group
Adam joined The Olson Group in August 2016 as an Employee Benefits Consultant and has over 10 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Adam previously worked with a large independent insurance agency and one of the top national insurance carrier. Adam holds his Health/Life License in the state of Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, & Kansas. He is Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) certified. Presently, Adam assists with employers to provide the best solution to their employee benefit package. He has deep knowledge and understanding of medical funding arrangements and employee benefits underwriting. Adam is a native of Nebraska and a graduate of Blair High School & Hastings College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

Travis Martin, The Olson Group
Travis joined The Olson Group as an Employee Benefits Advisor just over a year ago. He previously spent 16 years in a similar position, where he garnered multiple achievement awards for his work in the industry. Travis holds his Life/Health License in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas. He also holds a Nebraska Insurance Consultant’s License. Travis is known for taking time to understand each client and their specific needs. Travis is a native of Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Education.
