You can try to go directly to BCBS but I doubt they will work with you directly. Most of the time they like to work through benefits brokers. A couple of great local choices are Midlands Financial or SilverStone Group. Both are typically paid for by the insurance plan, so you shouldn’t have added costs by working with them. I’ve worked with both and they are terrific. Midlands is in Lincoln. SilverStone is in Omaha.
I’d up the grand prize – say a hotel stay or $100 gift card to Amazon (assuming your drawings don’t include these) or what about a pizza party? Maybe have the Margarita Man? I’m assuming jeans does not entice anyone otherwise I’d suggest that.
Thanks much Darci!!
Thanks Matt! You are the second person to say that they use West Gate Bank. Have you had any issues with having your FSA and HSA administered by two separate providers?
My old job we had the following PTO policy: All unused PTO could be carried over until a balance of 200 hours was reached. Once you earned 200 hours you had to take time off in order to continue to accrue. All PTO was paid out upon termination.
0-3 years accrued up to 80 hours per year
3-5 years accrued up to 120 hours per year
5+ years accrued up to 160 hour per year
Accruals were earned each pay period.
In my current position we have several different policies, but they are all up front PTO policies where hours are dumped in January 1st of each year and it’s a use it or lose it policy.
