- LHRMA will provide an annual donation of $250 to each SHRM Student Chapter upon receipt of their written chapter goals, plans, and leadership team for the school year. Goals must be submitted to the College Relations Chair no later than September 30th each year for the chapter to be eligible to receive the annual donation. - Annual LHRMA Student Membership – Student members include members of a SHRM designated college chapter. Membership will be verified with your chapter’s president. Other student members are limited to those individuals who are (1) pursuing a course of learning leading to employment in the human resources field or related profession; and (2) who are not actively employed in a human resources capacity as defined by regular membership. Coursework taken or planned should support an interest in Human Resources Management. Course of learning is defined as the equivalent of at least six (6) credit hours per term in a degree-seeking program. Students will be asked to attest to these criteria before being accepted as a student member of the chapter and annually upon membership renewal. Qualifying student members will not be charged the annual LHRMA dues.
- Students, who are also members of a designated SHRM student chapter, may attend monthly LHRMA programs at no cost by registering through the College Relations Chair (college.relations@lincolnhr.org). All other recognized LHRMA student members may attend LHRMA programs at the LHRMA member rate by registering as a LHRMA member. All students may attend LHRMA workshops at the member rate, regardless of SHRM student chapter membership.
