Leadership Matters – Don’t Stop Believing
Join us as we host Dr. Paul Gausman, Superintendent of Lincoln Public Schools, at our October program. Help us welcome him as LPS’ new superintendent and hear from him about the importance of leadership and education in today’s world!

Superintendent, Lincoln Public Schools
Dr. Gausman joined Lincoln Public Schools as superintendent on July 1, 2022. Prior to coming to Lincoln, he was the superintendent for the Sioux City Community School District for fourteen years. During that time, the school district saw significant gains in academic achievement and the graduation rate. In December 2021, superintendents from across the nation elected Dr. Gausman as president of the Urban Superintendents Association of America.
Dr. Gausman holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN; an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Sioux Falls; a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Nebraska at Omaha; and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
