Beyond 2020 – Labor and Employment Projections for the Year to Come

This presentation will push past the noise from 2020 and help employers focus on preparing the workplace for the Biden administration.

Presenters:
Catherine A. Cano
Attorney at Law, Jackson Lewis P.C.

Catherine helps clients navigate obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and state disability and leave laws. She also counsels clients on workplace drug and alcohol issues, including developing substance abuse policies. Catherine has defended more than 100 charges of discrimination filed with federal, state and local administrative agencies, and regularly appears before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Iowa Civil Rights Commission and Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission. Catherine represents in employers in federal and state court proceedings and has successfully defended multiple employment arbitrations.

Ms. Millsap has successfully defended employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations and FMLA violations. She also provides employers with preventive counseling on issues such as employee discipline, performance management, human resource policies, leave management and disability matters. She frequently conducts internal investigations and provides training on a variety of workplace law topics.
