Delight Deloney is an award winning, passionate people developer with a background in Human Resources and Counseling. Her areas of expertise include people development, global human resources, leadership, coaching, program management, engagement, project management, org design, strategic talent management, change management, and inclusion and diversity.
Prior to joining SHRM, Delight lead development for HR function at the Boeing Company and prior to that, held Strategic business partner roles supporting senior leaders across various functions and businesses at Boeing.
Delight holds a Master in Human Resources and Industrial Relations (MHRIR) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master in Social Work (MSW) degree also from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from Virginia Union University.
